Personal Development
- Conduct participant’s personal development needs assessments.
- Provide professional coaching services based on established goals outlined in a personal development coaching plan.
- Encourage and monitor participant’s accomplishment of goals outlined in plan.
- Refer participants to other educational, civic and social services organizations, upon request.
Parental and Student Educational Support
(Provide parental instruction and resources on the following topics)
- Understanding middle and high school expectations.
- How to effectively advocate for your student with school administrators, teachers and counselors (e.g. 504, Move on When Ready, Gifted, Special Needs).
- Strategies for improving classroom behavior and academic performance.
- Preparing for and improving performance on EOC, ACT, SAT, WIN, and ASVAB tests.
- Assessing student personality, interests, learning styles and study habits
- Providing college admission and resource information.
- Providing entry-level employment information and resources
Presentations and Workshops
