
Rev. Susan L. Heyward has a passion to share what she has learned throughout her 45 years as a college administrator and counselor at five colleges and universities in the United States. She is an ordained minister and uses her gift of administration to establish and enhance human development programs, services and ministries. She is a certified life coach and has been providing life coaching services since 2019. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology at Allen University, her Masters of Counseling and Student Personnel Services at the University of Georgia, her Certification in Theology at Dickerson Green Seminary and her Certification in Life Coaching at the University of South Carolina, Sumter.
Aliceia Lyles-Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor. For the last eight years she has worked closely with parents and children in and outside of the school system. She prides herself in helping teens find their voice and respectively advocate for their needs from the support systems available to them. She has provided families the support needed to navigate the various programs within the educational system such as: RTI/MTSS, Special Education, Financial Aid, Move on when Ready and more. Aliceia Lyles-Edwards received her Masters of Education in Professional Counseling at the University of West Georgia, Carrollton.
Christal Brown Heyward is a Certified Grief Coach with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, and loss. Her professional background includes serving as a Crisis Chaplain with Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy in North Charleston, SC since 2022. She holds a Master of Science degree in Thanatology from Marian University (2020) and has earned a Certificate of Training in "Crisis Scene Response" (2025).
Currently, Christal is pursuing a doctoral degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling at New Brunswick Theological Seminary in New Jersey. She also serves as the Executive Director of A Time of Refreshing, a non-profit organization based in Charleston, SC, dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of grief, loss, and trauma. The organization offers a range of supportive services, including retreats, seminars, monthly meetings, and one-on-one grief coaching by appointment.
